Wanted something small that i could easily carry and answer emails, download documents, and travel with. It seemed to be ok with the 1gb for my purposes, but already purchased the 2gb so inserted that. I am not computer savvy my any means, but the guy who reviewed this and wrote down the instructions which were perfect. I downloaded microsoft office and am ready to roll. I even bought a skin for it to personalize it a bit and have the wireless blue tooth mouse. Battery seems to last at least 8 hours.
