Been using this netbook for a couple months now and it's been great. I reinstalled it the day I got it with the Windows 7 beta then RC1 and it ran perfect. I wouldn't recomend this if you're looking to do any large applications as the atom proc. is not that powerfull but for email, browsing, or simple apps it works as designed.
The big plus with the Asus over other netbooks is the keyboard size, most of the other netbooks have a smaller keyboard that fingers like mine just don't fit on very well when trying to touch type, the Asus keyboard is close enough to normal size that you can touch type without much issue.Get more detail about ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 9.5 Hour Battery Life.
