After arriving DOA (bad HD), I decided to try out Asus's warranty service.. took forever and I had to pay shipping to CA... should have just called Amazon (I did email them and they said they would help if Asus did not)... anyway, when I finally got it back (took two weeks), it works great... use it from my easy chair (in-house wireless network) when I don't feel like sitting in front of it's bigger brother in my office. So far no complaints... would recommend and buy againGet more detail about ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 9.5 Hour Battery Life.
