Within half-an-hour of unpacking this netbook -- bought from Amazon -- it was up and running, had found a hot spot, and had connected me to the internet.
I also ordered a 2GB Asus memory board, a Logitec (bluetooth) mouse, and an external CD drive. All installed easily and worked immediately. My only problem is that one of the two screws removed to install the board would not go back in.
The keyboard is well designed and easy to use, though the right Shift key takes a bit of getting used to. The screen is sharp and clear. The webcam works superbly. After two charges, the battery indicator shows 7.5 hours remaining.
