I've been using the netbook for about 2 months now, including two weeks traveling on vacation. I'm pleased with its performance. It's lightweight and reliable. I'd upgraded the RAM to 2GB and have had no difficulty multi-tasking and editing large photo images.
I have not purchased an external CD/DVD drive so I'm limited to "cloud computing" and downloading online software. I'd prefer to use Norton Internet Security or some other full-featured protection but avast! seems to be doing the job for now.
The battery life is not as advertised. Fully-charged, I get about 7.25 hours but I'm not complaining - that's still far more than I get on my Dell Inspiron.
The keyboard is somewhat annoying. For some reason, the right-shift key is about 1/3 the size of the left one causing me to inadvertently hit the page-up key next to it. I've had to stop and look before using the shift-key.
